A fun meet is a mock competition that allows our students to show off what they have learned thus far to family and f riend s with a hug and a smile! It is run like a real gymnastics competition with judges (girls team volunteers), ribbons, and goodie bags for all the performers!

• WHEN: Sunday February 12th, 2012
• WHERE: Roots Gymnastics Center. 209 Roots Rd. Westfield, MA 01085
• WHO: 1:30-3:00pm (cost $20) Tumbleweeds 1, Tumbleweeds 2, Just for Boys 1, Petite Elites. (check in @ 1:15 for march in).
• 3:30-5:30pm (cost $25) Pre-team, 6-8yrs, 9-12yrs, 12+yrs, Just for Boys 2, Tumble-n-Tramp (check in @ 3:15 for march in).

Stop by or call register by Saturday February 4th at noon.  Apparel and special Fun meet leotards can be ordered at the front desk.  Special fun to show to loved ones the skills before the olympics in 2012.

2012 XOXO FUN MEET REMINDERS

*(Sign up is required for participation no later than Saturday February 4^th, 2012.)  Just a few gentle reminders and helpful hints to make sure the XOXO fun meet is a wonderful experience for everyone participating!

¬Please feel free to invite relatives and friends.  We welcome cameras and video cameras.  There will be a $3.00 admission charge for all kids and adults.  Children age 3 and under are free.  You are welcome to view the fun meet from the mezzanine, the main lobby, or our new bleachers that are set up inside the gym entrance.

¬Please make sure your child has gone to the bathroom before the fun meet begins.

¬Please try to arrive 15 min before your scheduled show time.  We will be checking in the children in the lobby and the instructors will then direct them to the appropriate area in the gym.

o   Children currently enrolled in Tumbleweeds 1 &2, Just for Boys 1, and Petite Elites are in Session 1: (starting @ 1:15 for check-in) 1:30-3:00 pm.

o   Children currently enrolled in 6-8 yrs, 9+ yrs, Tumble-n-Tramp, Just for Boys 2, and Pre-Team are in Session 2: (starting @ 3:15 for check-in) 3:30-5:30 pm.

¬Siblings and small children must remain with their parents during the event.  Rooties Playroom will be open from 2pm -5pm for childcare (cost is $5.00 for unlimited time! Discounted to $2 for those who already paid admission.)

¬GIRLS-Please have hair pulled back neatly in a ponytail, braid, etc.  Girls should wear the show leotard or a leotard of any kind, shorts or t-shirt.  Please no skirts, tights, socks or jewelry.

¬BOYS-please wear shorts and a t-shirt.
